Launch of MWS Endowment Fund

At the MWS Colours of Love Charity Gala on 27 March 2026, MWS launched the MWS Endowment Fund, following a $2 million donation from the estate of the late Dr Ong Yong Wan, who was the founding head of haematology at Singapore General Hospital. The Fund will provide a sustainable source of support, helping MWS meet the needs of beneficiaries for years to come.

MWS Establishes Family Services Hub to Support Families More Seamlessly

On 19 August 2025, MWS officially opened the newly relocated offices of Families for Life@Community – MWS and the Strengthening Families Programme (Methodist Welfare Services) at Hougang Avenue 8. Together with MWS Covenant Family Service Centre, the three services now form the MWS Family Services Hub, bringing together support across the continuum of care – from early prevention to intensive intervention – to better serve residents in Hougang, Sengkang, and Serangoon.

New MWS Family Service Centre in Sengkang West

On 1 August 2025, MWS opened a new Family Service Centre (FSC) in Sengkang West – its fourth FSC – expanding access to timely, holistic support for individuals and families facing complex challenges that range from financial strain and family violence to mental health concerns.

Official Opening of MWS Nursing Home – Eunos

On 19 November 2025, MWS officially opened MWS Nursing Home – Eunos, a 171-bed facility that strengthens support for Singapore’s ageing population through person-centred care and innovative technology. Co-located with MWS Senior Care Centre and SingHealth Polyclinic in Eunos, it offers seniors more seamless access to primary healthcare, rehabilitation, and palliative services.
