MWS ACTIVE AGEING CENTRES
MWS’ seven Active Ageing Centres (AACs) are part of the network of Active Ageing Centres across Singapore overseen by the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC). Our AACs serve as first stops in the community for seniors, aged 60 years and above, supporting their ability to age at home and in their neighbourhood, and empowering them to live fuller, active lives.

Our AACs adopt an Asset-Based Community Development framework, meaning we identify and mobilise assets within the community — such as schools, churches, grassroots organisations, corporate and individual volunteers — to help engage and care for the seniors.
We believe our seniors also have skills, strengths and abilities to step up to lead and run activities, thereby helping other seniors to adopt active ageing lifestyles.
