Debt Relief & Savings Programme

Helping families improve their financial well-being

MWS FAMILY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

Our Family Development Programme (FDP) seeks to help families improve their financial well-being, by cultivating positive habits for managing and reducing their debts and to save. We hope to alleviate their financial stresses and in the long-term, empower them in managing their finances, and achieve stability and a secured financial future.

Our Approach

Recognising that chronic debt affects one’s mental and emotional capacity, we work with volunteers within the community to help families clear their debts and build their savings, transforming their attitudes and cultivating positive habits towards their finances.

The focus of our programme is on making sustainable change in the lives of the families. The programme takes a long-term view and is not a one-time assistance.

Families are instilled with a sense of ownership and self-empowerment so that they may continue to sustain positive habits and financial discipline after they have completed the programme.
