Our Role
As society and the needs of community change over time, MWS’ role has gone beyond being simply a provider of remedial services. We build on our previous foundations to:
- Empower communities with resources to lead fuller lives.
- Advocate for those who may have fallen through the cracks.
- Partner with like-minded collaborators to ignite change.
- Nurture talents to make an effective difference.
Our logo
Our vision to be Christ-centred, in transforming lives and making a social impact, is symbolised by the cross on the highest point of the logo.
The letters M and W form the peaks, troughs and pathways that depict the challenging journeys we take with beneficiaries, serving them through our integrated network of services.

Our history
Methodist Welfare Services was first established in 1981. We began with a small nursing home of 24 residents. See our development through the years, as our programmes and centres can now be found across Singapore.
