More Than $660K Raised at MWS Charity Gala 2026

From energetic drumming and soulful acoustic music to dazzling acrobatics, The Ritz-Carlton, Millennia Singapore was transformed into a vibrant showcase of entertainment on 27 March 2026 as more than 200 guests gathered for the MWS Colours of Love Charity Gala.

Held in MWS’ 45th year, the event raised over $660,000 to support critical community needs addressed by MWS’ centres and programmes.

A key highlight of the evening was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Methodist Welfare Services (MWS) and the Dr Ong Yong Wan Fund to establish the MWS Endowment Fund (MEF). The MEF received a founding contribution of $2 million from the estate of the late Dr Ong Yong Wan, who had a distinguished medical career and was a regular volunteer at MWS Nursing Home – Yew Tee. The MEF will strengthen MWS’ ability to provide sustainable, long-term support for our beneficiaries and programmes.
