MWS Family Support Programme Rebrands as Families for Life @ Community – MWS

Since 1 April 2024, MWS Family Support Programme (FSP) has been renamed as Families for Life @ Community – MWS (MWS FFLC). This is to better align with the goals of the Ministry of Social and Family Development’s (MSF) Families for Life Council to build strong and resilient families. 

Like other community FFLCs, MWS FFLC will provide three Parenting Support Programmes, including Positive Parenting Programme (“Triple P”) and Signposts to support and guide individuals who are facing parenting challenges. 

The third, Purposeful Play, is a new evidence-based parenting programme to help parents develop their children’s language and communication skills through play and everyday activities, and to strengthen their relationship. 

Later this year, MWS FFLC will also launch Marriage Preparation and Enrichment Programmes. 

MWS FFLC will collaborate with community partners in the Hougang, Serangoon and Sengkang region to reach out to families and couples and encourage them to participate in the services and programmes.
