As part of their 57th Anniversary celebrations, the Signals Alumni of Singapore Arm Forces organised a charity run and bike event to fundraise for MWS Bethany Nursing Home (BNH) – Choa Chu Kang.
Recognising the importance of supporting the vulnerable in the community, Peter C.L. Ho, Signals Alumni Exco Treasurer, shared, “Just as Singaporeans serve in the Army to protect our country, we members of Signals Alumni serve our community who will in turn support our Army and country.”
“We are grateful to support an organisation like MWS Bethany Nursing Home – Choa Chu Kang that puts in its best efforts to integrate residents, alongside volunteers, into the community. We shall continue to do our part for the community.”
Signals Alumni’s heart and hard work paid off greatly as they exceeded their target and raised over $8,300. MWS is grateful for the efforts not only to fundraise for BNH, but also to raise awareness of MWS’ work in providing holistic care to the community, and we look forward to more of such meaningful partnerships.
